♥ Love your dog ♥

Sorry for the endless waiting time - a »Hund von Welt« like me has a lot of obligations so I wasn't able to spare some time even though I can think of nothing better than to dictate some interesting troves to my mistress...

I found some really awesome cards for you doglovers: Made by »Pistachio Press«, launched 2007 by Rachael Hetzel, resident of the the U.S.A., who lives along with her husband and their two dogs, Cassie & Pancake Sue.
Her love to dogs is certainly the reason why she printed the following stationery with silhouettes of different dog breeds.
Good to know, that she also loves the environment. She only uses 100% tree-free cotton papers or recycled papers that contain at least 30% post-consumer waste.

These breed-cards are letterpress printed on plush cotton paper with red ink and come with a red matching envelope.

This one - b.t.w. my absolute favourite - was letterpress printed on an antique letterpress and then hand embroidered. Each heart is drawn by hand and then traced with thread.



Only as a memory hook: Tuesday 29th of May will be my 7th birthday!
I espect some well-shaped greeting-cards according to my todays' post...

Scratching post

Today the word "post" got a complete new meaning for me: This cattree made by the Dutch designer »Erik Stehmann« shows that there possibly exsists a kind of friendship - or let's say helpfulness between dogs and cats.
Okay, this tree really looks fantastic compared to the traditional furniture for cats, but it turns everything topsy-turvy in my view of the world. I think I've to make an appointment with my trusted psychologist....

Finally a short warning that hits the mark: Mind your head....!.

Take a nip to the loo

It's a matter of fact that some dogs love to sip out of the toilet. It's not my alley, so I don't have any explication or excuse for this behaviour. But apart from that: For all dog owners it's an really awkward affair...
My advice: Take these doggish things with a sense of humour! I found a damned funny water bowl, that will rock you with laughter - as well as every guest you'll host in the future.

Saddle up & ride your bike

Do you also like bicycling? Every time my mistress fetches her bike, I'm getting totally excited!
I love running sideway to her and pull her like a Husky his sleigh.
A few days ago I found the perfect companion for me and her: The German »Satteltier« (translated in English it maybe would be a »Saddlepet«), designed by the Swiss Tilo Ahmels.

When people are invited by dog-owners, they often don't know what to bring along.
I found a very pleasant thing at the internet that turns some simple treats and a preserving jar into a perfect "made-with-love-gift".
With the »Jam-Labelizer« you can easy design your own Dogtreat-Label. There are different colours and designs available - you only have to type some words, print it, glue it, and: Here you are!

It's really healthy to drink enough every day. So why not celebrate your thirst in an elegant way?

I found a superlovely teapot - topped with a lid that looks like a cheeky puppy - and comes with two integrated pastel coloured cups.
It's created by the Japanese designer, Shinzi Katoh (via »ModCloth«) who is well known in making book illustrations and product design.

For me the only cup dog that I'll ever accept...

spring fever

It's becoming spring! The tulips and hyacinths are growing in my garden and I'm feeling totally excited about that.
Some of my collegues feel much more excited about other things - called reproduction.
Luckily that's not one of my problems, but I sympathise with their typical symptoms named absence of appetite, insomnia and heartache.
I found a really interesting solution for their pain in terms of a »Hot Doll« - a sexdoll and companion for dogs. Available in vicious black or virginial white:


I, personally, think that it doesn't look like a typical "playmate". For me it's a design object for a stylish home.
But it is purportedly: Love is blind.

My dearest friends.
Most of you certainly know how it feels when you have to go to the vet:
It's a terrible nightmare!
The most degrading thing is when he prescribes a cone of shame. (B.t.w. it's the perfect definition of this awful object...)
Julia Duncan-Roitman, the founder of »Pink Baby Mouse Shop« doesn't only breed mice (yeah, it's true, buddies!) - she also designed these incredible "Cone Pillows" that show different dog breeds on colourful fabrics.

It would be really kind, if you would give some attention to the look of these horrible cones of shame. I'm sure it would be a profitable job for you...And I swear that all dogs in the world - including me - would be deeply grateful.

I know that there are several dogs out there, who are allowed to sleep in the bed of their humans. Sadly this privilege isn't mine....
But maybe after my mistress will see this beautiful duvet cover made by the famous spanish designer »Amaya Arzuaga« her scandalous behaviour will change:



It would fit perfect to my home, because nobody could see my white hair onto the sheets - not even my mistress after brushing me off....
