First I'd like to thank all my friends & congratulators that made my (birth)day.
Everything was perfect - even if my deepest wishes (see my post from below) didn't came true...
But I had a lot of attention this day, and got some really f-u-n-tastic gifts.
After getting dressed by my mistress - as usual she put me on this awful crown - I had to pose amidst my gifts for the daily press:
I got a new »paraperro® cushion«, made by my mistress. It's an outdoor cushion and I'm going to be the test-dog for this model. When I'm chuffed about it, it's going to be produced next year.
Then I received a brandnew porcelain water-bowl that was designed by »Rosenthal« with a jolly print by Andy Warhol.
And also my mistress made a tasty cupcake of apple, zucchini and eggs, ornated by a »7« of some liver sausage, mhhhh!
B.t.w.: I didn't know what the green thing on the top of the cake has been for, it tasted unbearable...
Later that day - as you can see I still had to wear this crown - another present arrived.
My absolute adored liver-cake made by the german dog-bakery »Lehmann«.
There's only one question left: Why do I only have birthday once a year?
I've heard that 1 dog year counts like 7 human years!
So wouldn't it be fair to celebrate 6 times more?

wishing well
Yeah buddies, time's running. And thus my birthday isn't far away anymore.
This time I won't celebrate like last year, I'm just hanging around with some of my dearest friends.
I checked out some birthday presents that I'll await tomorrow. Maybe my wishes will come true...
These things would make my day:
1. Getting some lovely arranged flowers from my mistress in the morning.
Flowers found at »Snooty Paws«
2. Getting a really delicious & huge dog-cake for breakfast - of cause just for me.
Cake found at the lovely Blog of »Laurie Arons«
3. Having a refreshing bath with my buddies in a perfect shaped pool.
Bone-shaped swimmingpool found at the Blog »chicken smoothie«
4. And last but not least: Receiving a present that utterly looks like me!
Supercute key-chain made by »Leatherprince«
Will soon post some pics what really happened tomorrow.
Keep your fingers crossed for an amazing day!

♥ Love your dog ♥
Sorry for the endless waiting time - a »Hund von Welt« like me has a lot of obligations so I wasn't able to spare some time even though I can think of nothing better than to dictate some interesting troves to my mistress...
I found some really awesome cards for you doglovers: Made by »Pistachio Press«, launched 2007 by Rachael Hetzel, resident of the the U.S.A., who lives along with her husband and their two dogs, Cassie & Pancake Sue.
Her love to dogs is certainly the reason why she printed the following stationery with silhouettes of different dog breeds.
Good to know, that she also loves the environment. She only uses 100% tree-free cotton papers or recycled papers that contain at least 30% post-consumer waste.
These breed-cards are letterpress printed on plush cotton paper with red ink and come with a red matching envelope.

These breeds are available at the moment:

This one - b.t.w. my absolute favourite - was letterpress printed on an antique letterpress and then hand embroidered. Each heart is drawn by hand and then traced with thread.

Only as a memory hook: Tuesday 29th of May will be my 7th birthday!
I espect some well-shaped greeting-cards according to my todays' post...

Happy Barkday, last Part (for now)
Thanks for all the emails I received after publishing the pictures of my 6th birthday. Many of you asked me, if it's really true, that I've to wear this embarassing crown each year.
Here comes the proof:

My first birthday we've spended in Mallorca | Spain. We had a fantastic time with beautiful weather and I played a lot with the in-house cat there (a thing I would never do nowadays, because it makes much more fun to chase them).

My 2nd I got two plush toys, one with »naughty« the other with »nice« written on it. What the hell means »nice«?

I don't look sad on this pic of my third birthday - I only cannot await to jump at the bull whip.

Birthday No.4 my mistress donated me a self-sewed mini-pillow that lookes like me. Isn't it cute?

This one is last-years birthday-picture. I like the squeaking-terrier that also looks like me (made by »vom Heimathafen«) and I love the cookie with my name on (but this one only for a few moments).
As you can see: The crown is tradition - whether I like it or not....

Happy Barkday, Part 2
Yesterday was a day beyond belief for me. Due to my friends and my lovely mistress I had the best day of my life (so far...). Have a look at my private photo album to grab some impressions:
The invitations for my best friends - made by my mistress (like all of the stuff)

Preparing the birthday-table with presents for me and my friends

Some close-up views

(Plush toy by IKEA)

Some treats for my friends to treasure the party (Watch out, these are the real doggy-bags!)
Some party-hats for my friends. Did you see the logo? Yes, it's all me!

One of the party-hats on the head of Wilma...

...and on the head of Fridolin

Unfortunately there is a yearly habit of my mistress to make a birthday-pic with me wearing a little crown. I hate that, but maybe it brings good luck. Grmmmphhhh.

I think I will never understand it...

But I look much smarter than Frido, don't I?

The official birthday-portrait of me lounging on my new paraperro®cushion. Yeah, it fits perfect to me (I mean the cushion, not the crown...).

Again, thanks to my friends for this unforgettable day!
