Unfortunately sometimes it's necessary for us dogs to be leashed.
I don't like it, but I know that we get into deep trouble if we don't stick to it.
Therefore it's really important to look stylish at any rate while being "roped". I found some interesting posibilities for us four-legged fashion victims - have a look!
This »Sausage Link Dog Leash« is for real gluttons, because you always have your provisions by your side. So it doesn't matter if you get lost - you'll never starve...(and that's the only thing that counts, doesn't it?)
My opinion of the following leash by »Povodokus« is a two-edged sword: On the one hand I really like the style and the idea, but on the other hand it looks a bit macabre to me. What do you think ? - Write me your opinion! I'm really not sure if it's superhip or supershit...
The third leash made by »Alice Wang« is for "all the single ladies" (thanx Beyonce). Your mistress will always have a helping hand at your collective walks.
An efficient partnership can be so simple...

dogs for cell
Nearly every human being owns one of these curious machines called mobiles. I really don't understand wherefor they use them, but it must be very important:
They hug it several times during the day by nuzzeling it to their ears and the "peculiar thing" answers with a cosily sound of pleasure....
In order that it doesn't get ill or feel cold they bed it into pockets or sleeping bags...
Humans, ts ts ts ts...
The mistress of Lasse - one of my Parson Russell friends - is producing cell-phone-bags of wool felt, that helps protecting all those little ringelingding-things of getting in danger.
Her brand is called »Vom Heimathafen« and it's quite easy to get one of her handmade bags in your own style: Just send her a pic of your dog (or of anything else you like) and she designs a perfect-shaped bag for your mobile.
The following one I really love most, because it's printed with Lasse at the beach after getting wet by a huge wave...
If you're more into Polka-Dots, this one is perfect for you:
And this is the back view of the cuddly accommodation:
Seems to be the one and only mobile home, doesn't it?

Skål
Summer is one of my favourite seasons. I enjoy being outside, to play & swim or just chill in the sun. When getting thirsty I normally help myself by drinking out of the pond or the bird bath (Short advice for all my four-legged friends: please notice, never take a swallow out of the pool!!!!).
My mistress - an class A esthete & japan-loving - found a really stylish alternative made by »doggydetail« that will accompanies us from now on everywhere we go.
It is called »Origami Bowl« and is a real clever foldable product for carrying and drinking in a very fashionable way. It holds two cups of water - enough for a jolly day in the countryside...
Always remember - don't drink & drive!

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Before some of you will declare me insane, I would like to explain:
It's not a weird sentence that comes into my mind, it's a
DUMMY TEXT
This text shares some characteristics of a real written text and it may be used to display a sample of fonts or to generate text for testing.
Mostly the text itself is nonsense but it's a coherent, short phrase that uses every letter of the alphabet. (Description by Wikipedia)
I know these phrase for a really long time, because my mistress sometimes need some dummy text for her work as a designer. It was time to appreciate it by printing it onto T-Shirts or - like in the other case - onto a shopping bag like the two designers of »DADADA studio« did.
There's only one thing wrong in this phrase that I would really like to correct:
The quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox.
Yes, that sounds much better to me....

Second life
There are so many creative people in the world! Every time I start my computer for screening around, I discover some new exciting stuff. The following little chaps are pet portraits of a New York textile designer called »Sian Keegan«. She's using recycled or vintage fabrics to create these charismatic & dearest four-legged friends. I'm completely sold on that!
By the way: She also has a shop at »Etsy«. But watch out! You will certainly take them all home, wanna bet?

A question of style
Today it's birthday-time again! But it's not mine (what a pitty, because I'm really getting used to it), it's my lordlings celebration. But fortunately he's only getting one year older, not seven as me...
At the moment I'm not sure what to wear to please him - a bow tie or a tie.
Look at these dinky models I found at the internet. What would you decide?
Bow tie made by »Silly Buddy«
Tie of »Muttropolis«
It seems that it's not only a problem of girls....

Eye candy
I love the dog-illustrations of »Christiane Engel«, an illustrator & writer living in London. Every month she's releasing a desktop calendar for downloading and it's a pleasure to gaze at every picture she had sketched so far. But see for yourself:
Another artwork, called "Unwanted Dogs-Pattern":
This is one of her desktop calendars:
The illustration of the bookcover "City of Dogs":

Back to the 80ies
I found something really funny at the internet: C64 yourself!
Do you remember one of the first home-computers by Commodore, introduced in 1982? - It was the C64 with its typical style of pixelated screen.
With »C64 yourself« you can fake up this "primeval" look by droping photos into the virtual monitor. A few seconds later you receive your special pic. If you want to, you can release it directly at Facebook or download in different sizes to your desktop.
Look - that's me:
I feel so wonderfully retro!
